seen lots of football games not won because lack of ability to gain one yard.... I dont see us having this problem at all this year . Looks like Vrabel going Jeff fisher brand of football with a wrinkle best o line best running back and Qback with an arm he took the best player on his board that met one of his needs

I gave the pick a c because he seems like he could be good. He is unpolished and kinda slow till he gets in space. But he seems to read the play well.

My big issue is rt was not what I wanted in the 1st.

I'll admit my initial reaction was wtf. I was expecting gross-Matos or espensa.

But the more I thought about it, the more sense it makes.

    1. The kid has obvious big time talent. Jrob likes to swing for the fences with lower half of the round picks. See Simmons last year.

    2. I am now convinced that we know Clowney is in the fold.

    3. Clearly the staff is ok with the depth we have for slot corner. Either that or we see one tomorrow...

    4. It was crazy to think we were going to go into the season with Davis and Kelley and nothing behind them on the right side. That could have been a season killer. And someone is going to get hurt on the line at some point.

Im really expecting a RB in round 2 or 3 now. Our whole season goes to hell if Henry goes down.

    Flashbacks of taking Chance Warmack.

A big guy that clearly has no knack for football or athletic ability.

Calling bust now so yall can save it and use this later.

Doesn't pass the eye test at all.

As a tackle? Maaaaybe. As a guard? No f'ng way. Edge rushers can skip past this dude with no issue.

Only the Packers made a worse choice in rd 1.

I get taking "best player available"

    I get drafting for need.

    We did neither.

    Pure idiocy.

We'll go ahead and pencil you in for bust on all the other picks as well. Just like every year.

Nothing against him as a player. Honestly, have no opinion.

...but I wanted something else. I dreamed that either Fulton or YGM might drop to us and both did. Plus we had a chance at all the people I thought we might take (Gladney, Blacklock, Johnson, Epenensa).

...but I'll wait and see what we take overall. If we get a nice CB and DL/Edge guy today, I'm more okay with this.

What does that have to do with JRob or Vrabel?
