So the Jags have been dealing away players right and left....no way does Ngakoue remain a Jag for long. The Jags have 12 draft picks in this draft and 2 first rnd picks in next years draft...

The Redskins have a huge need at edge rusher, WR, TE, and an issue with Trent Williams at OT

That is a bunch of issues for the Skins to fix....but if they were to trade out of the number 2 spot with the Jags and have Ngakoue as part of the deal and get either a 2nd from the Jags or a combination of other picks then the Skins would get an elite pass rusher and still get an elite OT picking at #9 in this deep OT class....the Skins would then be able to cut Williams and save 12mil in cap space that they could use toward signing Ngakoue. The Skins would be able to get a stud WR or TE in the 2nd and 3rd rnds and have all their draft needs met

The Jags would then take Chase Young at #2 getting their elite pass rusher and still have pick 20 to take a solid CB or DT.....and the Jags with all the draft capital that they have could move up from 20 to grab someone they really like.

This trade works for both teams which is what you need to have happen. If the Jags stay at 9 then they miss out on getting an elite edge rusher...they get a CB or DT.....both teams can then rid themselves of headache players too...who knows maybe Fournette gets included in the deal because the Skins currently have Guice and old man Peterson at the RB spot and their new head of player personnel was an area scout in the southeast when Fournette came out of the draft.

People on XM were talking about Trent Williams today. The couple guys on there said they think Trent Williams is worth a day 2 pick and they also think the 'Skins are in love with Young.

I’ve thought of that as an option too...I mean you are full of draft capital for the next 2 yrs and are picking in the 9th spot and you are counting on a late rnd qb to be your franchise guy....got to question that thinking, but they say they are all in on Minshew mania.....so if you are all in then build up the defense you have just torn to shreds

The only way I see them not taking Young is if they knew they could get a stud edge guy and a stud OT plus more in draft picks

How glorious is it that the Jags received “no offers” for Yannick and Fournette.

Will be interesting to see if anyone bites today....my guess is that they won't and Yannick turns into a Clowney type deal with the Jags getting some pick in next years draft
