I've listened to tons of XM 88 lately. All those guys are saying that executing a trade within a minute or two without everyone in the same room will be really tough and this draft may be pretty straight up.

Makes sense. I think we will probably stay put and take the best Casey replacement available whether it be Epenesa or Blacklock. Jordan Elliot could be in play as well... luckily we get to find out in a couple weeks.

I'd never thought about the dynamics, but they typically have 8+ guys, each with a couple teams assigned, constantly on the phone working deals with contingencies. And now each one is going to be at their own home.

As far as DL, I like Blalock and Elliot a lot.

It'll definitely be interesting to see how it plays out...if anyone could pull off a trade under these circumstances it's jrob, but we'll see. I don't want to trade out anyways if it means missing out on one of those guys. The drop off is pretty steep after blacklock and elliot.

Blacklock and Elliott. I need to get the names right.

My gut tells me they look CB 1st round and then DL 2nd round.

...but then an OT might fall in their lap in the 1st and there might be a WR or RB they love in the 2nd.

I'm excited. This draft is basically the only thing I'm living for right now.

Cheers to that. I think we will go dline and then corner, taking advantage of the deep corner class by waiting and getting a good one similar to how we got aj brown last year.

Dline just too thin and too big a need.

There's alot of good corners at the top, yes. Probably not alot alot of great ones, but alot of good ones for sure.

Mike Keith made a good point yesterday, he said the Titans played with 2 D-lineman on the field 44% of the snaps last year. His point was, that's why the Titans saw Casey as expendable and why they may wait until later in the draft to address d-line.

If someone like Epenesa gets to 29, I think they have to make that move regardless. He would be perfect in Vrabel's offense.

My gut says Epenesa is gone and the Titans trade out of the 1st round and get an extra 3rd round pick. Then they go CB, WR in the 2nd.

Yeah I think locking down CB is huge since we have a glaring hole there. I think OT is in play early as well, despite Kelly. We are in an interesting spot at WR, with Davis coming up on an option year, and at RB only having Henry in the cupboard. This draft could be wide open if we don’t make some FA moves.
