It wouldn’t surprise me at all if NFL plays games with no crowds. The tv ratings would be huge for them and the tv contracts are the main revenue drivers

clearly the Titans give zero shyts how many home fans attend...

they pay lip service to it but IMO perfer the visiting fans...

they fill up the hotels and bars unlike most local fans

Nah.. They'd lose 50% of TV viewership if there's no crowd.

Why would they lose 50%viewership? If no one can go to the games, wouldn't they watch on TV? So therefore, viewership would go up. I personally hope they give Sunday ticket for free as long as we can't go to the games lol

Because watching games without a crowd would be like practice.

The game would just be awful without the fans in the stands. No homefield advantage etc etc.

NFL Owners would rather fans come to the games any day of the week.

"Viewership would go up" Viewership means nothing on the NFL Sunday Ticket. Therefore, there's no way they would give it away for free. It's that monthly payment that draws the revenue, not via commercials. I have the Ticket. What do I do when a commercial break comes on? I turn to another game. I can't even remember the last time I watched a commercial on the Sunday Ticket.

Take Sunday ticket out of the equation. The football fans that love the game won't care about fans being there. Football is football. If we can't go to games, we wil just watch on TV so viewership would be up.
