Hopefully it's a precursor to Chris Harris Jr or Dante Fowler. Maybe Clowney if it's reasonable.

Why are people thinking we are getting another edge guy to replace Casey?

Hate to see him go. One of the best players and leaders this franchise has seen.

Also, I don't get the "We still have Simmons, so it's fine" talk. Simmons needs a co worker to show his full potential. We're not going to see what Simmons can truly do if we can't get anyone next to him. Simmons is and will be a game changer, but we need to fill a massive need in the middle not that Casey is gone.

I think we would be better suited just getting a more traditional DE to play on the line. I'd be cool with the clowney signing though as long as its not for a ridiculous price

 

I would expect the plan is to use the money for Casey’s replacement. Simmons will get a running mate.
