    Thank God for the Preds.

in case y’all missed it Preds just beat the Caps in Bridgestone 6-5 in epic battle. They were down and even and down and even then went ahead with 5 mins to play. Feel fortunate to have a quality franchise in Nashville. These guys don’t quit.

Yea, Preds are good but it's too early to judge them. For crying out loud the Oilers are the best team in hockey right now, lol. Anyways regular season is proving to be pointless after we've seen the Lightning get wrecked in the first round and the Dodgers just get wrecked after 107 wins (mlb). I hope they can keep it up offensively!

Well- Preds are average team in a really, really good division. Don’t think we’ll see playoffs this year unless we see some SERIOUS defense. Saros good but not Rinne great like 2-5 years past.

I watched them last night and, though I am far from a hockey expert, they don't look nearly as fast as what I remember (passing, skating, shooting, etc.)

In previous games I watched, the defense is really lacking. They just don't seem to play very physical.

I'll get more into them after NFL is over and they'll hopefully find some answers soon.

It's worth watching the Preds again. They are are 3 points out of the wildcard spot and they have 3 games up on Arizona. That's a potential six point jump if they win those games. It's a good situation to be in.

And they are playing a lot better the past few weeks. They've won 7/10 games. Just swept Stanley cup winner St. Louis Blues last weekend. Rinne and Saros playing a lot better. Ellis should be coming back from injury.

Should be very exciting game tonight and over the next few weeks to see if they can get into the playoffs. They could make some noise if they do.

I have no idea who turned on the switch but the Preds are playing very well again. I'd honestly stopped watching them but caught both Blues games and it looked like another team on the ice.

New head coach John Hynes. He said Preds were mentally soft- now players are playing FOR each other rather than WITH each other. Lavi had lost the team with how he treated Turris. Turris looks like a completely different person. And Granlund is playing like a demon of late. Ryan Johannsen playing slightly better but nowhere near performing like he should. Forsberg about the same- he's due for a big game. He's had some bad puck luck.

Should be an exciting stretch run over the next several weeks.

btw- this is a good breakdown of tonight's game. This is a good site for Preds news- commentary also.

still hovering just outside of wildcard spot with games in hand. Need to get at least 4 points in the next 3 games.

Preds in last wildcard spot now. (Just barely). Still very tenuous. HUGE game tomorrow night against Calgary- they hold first wildcard spot.
