the xfl wouldnt even offer him 100k for the SEASON... most ppl get like 30k. no actual pro athlete is taking that lol

he's 32 and would have to do at least a 2 year deal, and the xfl wouldnt release him to let him jump to the NFL if he did well year 1... there's really no upside for him to do it, just injury risk. makes more sense for him to just sling shoes.

He’s 4(?) years removed from being an actual pro athlete.
There’s no doubt he would outplay his measly contract in the XFL but a) I don’t think it would lead to an NFL contract and b) he currently has no contract with anyone so it’s nit like he’s losing money if he were to play in the XFL.

putting in all that work for 30k and no chance at going to the NFL? he could just get a normal dayjob and make more or at least equal lol

he's so old he's never getting back to the NFL so i dont see why he would unless they offered him more money to be one of their premier players

    Agree.
If he wants to play (he doesn’t) then he has opportunity.
If he wants to get some additional spotlight, he’ll use the platform.

On an absolute lesser piece, if he wanted any success towards the XFL (doubt he cares) then he could use his name recognition to help the league. Maybe even parlay that into an office job to help get other castoff big names. Could also open up the league revenue into bigger contracts for their players.

Not saying any of this happens at all, just pointing out the positives that could come from him signing to play.

Nothing positive will come from him playing, unless you find a **** show amusing

    Strongly disagree.
XFL seems to not be a s**t show so far but I think that happened week 1 last time.

Tons of positive, for at least the XFL side would happen if he played. Possibly some for him but more likely nothing. Outside injury, nothing negative for him either.

What if he walks away from the XFL with a losing record?

He won’t get signed by the NFL?

I don’t know, seems like he’d be no worse off than he currently is.

I dont know what hes making acting victimized and not playing football anywhere at all. But clearly it must be more than the $50,000 the XFL offers. If he plays in a 2nd rate league and sucks, suddenly hes exposed as a player. Goodbye half of his fan base if the true reason he chooses not to play comes out.

IMO he doesnt want to play, but staying in the news maintains his relevancy in society and allows him to have a 2nd career alter football.

First, he wouldn’t suck in the XFL and if somehow the talent he’s against stumped him, then I guess you’re right he could lose, meanwhile everyone else wins when the followers are exposed as frauds following him based on a talent they THINK he has.

Dumbasses count w/l on the QB and even bigger dumbasses do it with a second rate team full of nfl practice squad guys.
