Long Term Deal for Henry?

Normally the titans are the closest thing to "balance" in the NFL.

 

Good thing we went with what works, then.

 

He was saying over the last year the titans are roughly 50/50.

 

Zeke had 2 fewer carries than Derrick Henry in the regular season.

The Cowboys offense was very good last season.

 

And we went most successful this year, and into the playoffs as primary running.

I know what he was saying, and what I said is also true.

 

It could've been better if they had gone through their best player.

They were good, but... in a division with Washington, NY and Philadelphia, they couldn't get into the playoffs.

They didn't fully utilize their best weapon.

 

David Johson had 2118 total yards and 20 TDs the year before he got paid. Hard to call that overrated.
It's better than Henry's 1746 yards and 18 TDs this year...
If you want to pay Henry top dollar now, you wouldve done the exact same for David Johnson back then.

 

They didn’t get in because of their defense. Cowboys had #1 offense in the NFL. Zeke had more touches than Henry. You wouldn’t accuse us of not going through our best player.

 

Johnson was never a guy you had to worry about gashing you for 150 on the ground. Just look at his yards per carry. He did his damage in the pass game mainly. He had one good year on the ground. So yeah as a RB he was definitely overrated.

You can say that all you want, but Tricky is right. If it was Johnson in Henry’s place after a season like that most people would be screaming that we had to sign him.
