Most were picked 5th or later. I suspect we could wait until 6/7 if Joseph isn’t already the guy.

Not a sexy pick, but who knows, maybe kicker will be the difference in a handful of games.

 

Well good work looking the info up. And kickers are certainly worthy a late pick, but the reality is we have a kicker signed thru 2021. Out of the active kickers today most seem to come from the undrafted pool of players.

Gostkoski was a 4th round pick. Definitely a worthwhile pick for the Pats. I think more often than not, drafted kickers workout. It is just that the times they don't, are very noticeable.

 

Next great kicker following in the same line as Gostkowski and Elliot will be coming out of Memphis 2021. Timing works out.

 

My only problem with picking a kicker is that we've seen some of the best kickers in CFB come into the NFL the last few years and be terrible or completely pedestrian. Csnt really explain why that is.

 

Nightmare is Aguayo (sp?). He was a 2nd round pick that sucked.

I’m only suggesting 6/7 and since we don’t have a 7th I guess 6th would be it.

I’m not gonna complain about Joseph until he gives me reason to.

on paper, it should be one of the easiest positions to pick
