    The Chiefs are about to pay Mahomes. Gonna have a lot less money to build a team around him when you’re paying a QB that much money. Brady always took pay cuts. Has a QB ever won a super bowl while being the highest paid player?

    They already have all the pieces there to win again. Are they expecting to lose a lot of players via free agency? I even think they will get good vets for cheaper purely on the hopes of winning another Superbowl.

    The days of getting discounts for being a successful team are long gone, along with the “hometown discount”. It’s a “business” and ALL about the money now. The NFL isn’t what it used to be.

    Some big names on defense here, plus they are towards the bottom of the league in available cap. There is a reason they said they wont extend Mahomes until they have to. Once they do, they're gonna go through what the Seahawks did.

    That similar to the Titans situation right? We have lots of our pieces who could be gone. The good GMs always seem to find good talent for cheap aka free agency and draft. How does KC keep constantly finding highly productive RBs!

    Sure to win again next year. But it’ll catch up to them soon. Mahomes is going to be be making stupid money. Hard to build a team like that unless you absolutely kill the draft every single year.
