We are in a really good spot to make a run. We bring back RT, Henry, Conklin this year.
Only big free agents next year: Jayon Brown, Daquan Jones, and Jonnu Smith. Adoree and Corey will both be on their 5th year option (CDs probably wont get picked up). Assuming we can bring back all those guys pretty easily and keep improving a squad that already finished top 4 in the league. Very promising.

Zeke’s contract is the starting point.

He had signed a six year, $90 million contract extension. He got $50 million in guarantees, $28 mill was fully guaranteed at signing. He’s making 10.9, 13.7, 16.5, and 15 mil essentially his first 4 yrs off his new contract.

Pretty sure I told a bunch of you all this, but so many were confident he wouldn’t demand or get Zeke money. He will get at least that much or more.

Whatever BDH gets it will be short lived as the top contract....McCaffrey will reset it again

When you look at his deal as a whole like most contracts it’s a lot of money but Dallas can opt out after 2023 if they choose and only take a hit of 6.7mil. Jrob will do the same, front load the hell out of it- 30mil or so @ signing bonus, 50 mil over his first 3 yrs with the option to bail after 4-5yrs.

Hooker has showed he can play. Does he have the skill set to step in and fill Ryans role? He has about the average speed for a safety running a little of 4.5 40. Has good instincts. And obviously wont be starting over Vaccaro or Byard. If Ryan doesn’t come with a friendly deal I say we test him out in that role.

Hookers best college tape was at Byards spot FS. But hes capable inside in the slot role.

I wasnt overly impressed by him in 2019 but he was a rookie so i never really did expect much out of these new kids at first.

Lets say this; I wouldnt bet against him developing into a decent NB.

Honestly, he was played quite a bit and never was noticed because he did his job. In my mind he'd be good at NB. Obviously if Vrabel thinks so and Ryan doesn't get retained we will see him get his chance.

Offseason should be fun this year! Usually we are trying to bring in players to save us. Now its just to improve! Such a good feeling lmao
