this isn’t wrong. Rams have to be regretting a lot of their decisions. Not saying Henry will suddenly break down like Gurley but with RBs who take a beating you never know.

Also no guarantee Tannehill finds his lighting in the bottle again and picks up right where he left off after this long offseason.

But seeing how close this squad got and gelled - it seems very much worth the risk to sign them both and find out...

I think the tag might be smart the more I think about it. I will get some all bent by saying Tammy might have lucked out and caught the perfect storm. It's kind of like a new young QB coming in and having success because there is not a lot of film to study. In the situation here:

    1. Art is a new OC so defenses don't know his style yet.
    2. Derek caught fire and was unstoppable. The run we went on was in large part to DH averaging over 120 yards rushing and accounting for 2 TDs per game.

With that said, I'm all about extending Tammy and keeping him here. I don't want going through rookie growing pains and hoping the guy pans out...tiring.

The guy has had 2 4k+ seasons on the crap Dolphins. When was the last time we had a 4k passer? I dont buy the flash in the pan, or fluke season, or breakout season theories. The guy has shown (somewhat consistently) he can get things done in the right situations. We seemed to have been able to provide more right situations this past season than Miami. That doesnt suprise me.

Saving cap space for the perfect players is not going to benefit us. Roll the dice and see if it works. I would rather go down trying than saving money and being medicore because they dont want to spend.

We're not really in the position to let the most efficient QB in the league walk away. Even if it's a risk, it is one worth taking and could give us some leverage during negotiations.

To the OP’s post they had the head of the Nashville Sports Council on TV talking about that very thing, even referencing the stadium in Miami and he said it was time for renovation and that they would like to host a SB by 2030.

    Would be very cool.

I agree with your point overall but to answer this question:
As the Titans, never. Matty Ice still holds the single season yardage mark with 3571.
We can get tricky and say “we had a 4K passer” in the sense that Collins did throw for 4K prior to his Tennessee run, as did THill.

    Otherwise, go back to Moon.

I support this...and he will accept it. Cousins showed it can work out very well.
