Pees I'm not worried about. DP knows BB and can counter him; it's the actual talent on D that is concerning to me.

Art better be ready to make adjustments per play/possession. His planning this week should assume BB will try to neutralize DH and then AJ right out of the gate.

I total think we can win this. Hell, for the first time in a while I feel our QB can knuckle down and help carry the team, but there's absolutely no reason he should have to.

 

If somehow they DO shut down AJ and Henry... Jonnu, Corey and Sharpe can still put up some big numbers with Tanny. We actually have quite a few impact weapons it seems! JROB had everything right, just needed the right QB to make the engine run!

 

How have Belichik disciples done against him in the past? I consider Vrabes of that ilk. Adds an interesting wrinkle.

Specifically I don't trust our pass rush/dline. I know the secondary gets a lot of blame for this...but to me...it all starts with line play....in the nfl any QB can rip you to shreds if you give them time.

Exactly, I am confident that IF we are ready with out own adjustments (something historically we don't do very well), that we will still have success....HOWEVER, what you mention is exactly the Genius of Belichick...he takes away your best thing and makes you win with your second or third best thing.

 

The key will be IMO, to pass early to set up the run later. The pats used to be the masters at this tactic.
