Coincidentally that was also the part of the season when he was playing with a QB who couldn't sustain drives.

Are you suggesting that getting more carries leads to getting more yards? What a revelation!

Build a good offense and any RB can get yards on his touches. Give him more touches and he will get more yards. This is 1st-grade level stuff.

Todd Gurley might get cut this offseason. Same with David Johnson. Le'Veon Bell is already on the trade block. 9 times out of 10, it ends up being a mistake to pay your RB big money.

The Titans can find another player to produce the same yards Henry does in the draft or in free agency. If not, the GM doesn't deserve a job in pro football.

This. I can guarantee you the patriots would not keep him...and they are the smartest team in football.

Yeah it is so easy to find franchis RBs that everyone has them. Look how great our RBs were prior to Henry...

But a lot of good options in the draft.

Let's forget about yards and focus on a bigger stat.. Touchdowns. There are currently 7 RBs with 10+ TDs. All of them being "big name" guys...not smucks off the street.
So, it's so easy to replace the production of Henry, yet there are only realistically 4-5 RBs that will be close to his production yard/TD wise come the end of the season. That doesn't include the mental edge that Henry brings to the field.

Any of these guys rookies or no names?

Henry deserves a deal. That's it, that's all.

Have you seen us without him?! Lol. What other team has a 6’3 250 lb back like him? I’ll wait....

Henry is the type of back that punishes defenses and gets better as the game goes on and he gets more carries. That's no secret.

Show me one example of a rookie of free agent RB replacing 1500 yards and 15 TDs while being the focal point of an offense.

Look at the top backs this season. None of them are no name backs.

This "any RB can do that" stuff is just dumb.

There are plenty of examples at every position to point to "don't pay X position" big money. So I guess no player deserves to get paid because other players on different teams didn't produce after getting paid.
