To keep Tanny or NOT?

The fact that can keep the offense intact and use their high picks on a pass rusher and IOL is huge.

 

Okay. I say keep him but dont break the bank. 1 good year doesn't deserve that type of money. franchise him if you need too

 

You said that you hoped he would get hurt in the 2nd half of last week’s game...

 

Every game a part of me is waiting on "reality" to set in and Tannehill come crashing down.

Even Pickpatrick looked like a superhero for a handful of games last season.. then he lived up to his name.

But he looks legit to me. I think this is who he is as a qb. He may have shown flashes in Miami and never quite got there, but I think he fits here.

 

Henry and Tanny are killing it and helping each other out.

Linebackers on opposing teams are really struggling againts us right now.

 

Yeah, let's just ignore the best, most consistent QB play this franchise has seen since, um, well, a long ****ing time.

You have to extend him. No idea what a rookie will turn into. Plus opportunity cost, using a 1st on a QB takes away from other positions. Extend Tannehill, and get another pass rusher and IOL, then some depth.

 

You don’t use resources this way. Sign Tanny or use a high draft pick on a qb. Don’t do both.

 

We haven't had a franchise QB since McNair. Tanny is the best chance we are going to get one in the near future. I don't think Tanny is going to be willing to take a short term deal, its going to be commitment here or somewhere else. You have to pull the trigger and if he bombs out later it is the chance you have to take. Are other option is we draft a rookie with what is now going to be mid to late pick and that to me is a greater gamble.
