Mariota has one of the quickest releases in the game and a very good playaction.....we did nothing to help him in a system that benefits HIM or the talent around him. Promoting Lafluer would have been the right move for continuity. Just calling him trash does nothing to change the FACT lafluer over vrabel should have been a no-brainer. Mariota got us a playoff win throwing to eric f in decker and this fanbase wants to blackball him. We deserve mediocrity.

 

Actually, he won a playoff game because Andy Reid choked as usual, and he bounced a pass off a defenders face mask that should have been a pick six. Mary got lucky and it bounced to him and he ran it in.

 

And made several key throws to keep drives alive and threw the game winner.

Still waiting for you tell me how picking Vrabel over Lafluer helped in the development of mariota.
