Seriously, what is it about Mariota which causes poor judgement in people, namely by wanting to anoint him? Some reporter was praising him for running scout team QB, which is literally the job of the backup.

 

He's straight up cast a spell on folks. How or why, I have no idea. He is objectively not a good QB and he has zero personality or charisma.

 

Mariota is the greatest 2nd overall pick backup QB of all time.

 

Mariota is a good dude.

Clean cut and doesn't get into trouble.

He's the kind of guy you'd want your kids to idolize as a NFL hero.

Unfortunately, that's off the field. He just doesn't have "it".

 

Same exact thing could be said of Locker though. And I don't recall nearly this level of delusion of when it came to him.

Mariota certainly failed on the field(with a few magic moments) , no excuses with a bit of help from the organization. If you can’t appreciate the effort and character of the young man though it speaks volumes on a few levels. Could be souless, cowardly and small genitalia most likely.
