Trading to bring an elite WR to Nashville would be like installing gold countertops in your piece of sh*t trailer.

Makes no sense investing in passing game accessories when the key components of the passing game (QB and coaching) are bad.

 

All this “makes no sense to bring in a big time WR” talk.

Why the hell did we draft a WR at #5?
Equally as a big a waste only riskier by nevertheless knowing if he was actually worthy a first.

For all the argument not to go after Cooper, it’s seems the same argument is why we shouldn’t have drafted Davis.

 

Actually, didn't we already have the 1st invested in Davis prior?

So... spend 2 Firsts for WRs? In a row?

If the trade for Cooper had happened prior to drafting Davis, then agreed.

 

He woulda caught like 14 balls and dropped 4 for us last year. We wouldn't have drafted AJ Brown, then he'd catch like 52 balls for us this year, then leave as a free agent.

Woulda been great.

 

The first was invested prior to the Cooper trade but the exact same argument of “why waste a first on a WR” applies to both situations.

I’m sure we can refer to the thread logs and find that plenty were on board with wasting a first for Davis but then used the “wasted on WR” argument when Cooper was “available”.
