Simmons to practice next week, eyes week 7 for possible debut.

Maybe Simmons is a freak and Conklin is a sub par athlete and doesn’t heal as fast . Heck he was a walk on at Michigan State . Point is they’re two completely different people and the specifics of the injuries can be different as well . It’s crazy all that season is over tanking talk leave to the execs , we’re fans , we gotta season to watch and in 2 out of our 3 losses we were looking like the better team. It’s gonna be tough but I like Vrabel and these players , it’d be nice to see them go on a run . No?

 

It would be great to go on a run. Our defense is playing very well, but putting Simmons in unnecessary harms way is a tragic mistake. I am looking at the big picture, he’s the biggest piece of our future Defense, and to throw him out there right after rehab without true strength training would be unwise.


I want this team to win, but I don’t want to mortgage our future to see Simmons get on the field early, it’s not that important to me.

 

I would be in shock if we won more than 6 games. We beat ourselves every week so it really doesnt matter who is on our schedule because as long as we are we will find a way to lose. We will likely lose to the broncos this weekend honestly.

 

Conklin is ass and had been ass since they stopped giving him help after his rookie year.

Don't compare the two.

Ehhhh... I mean. We definitely need the help- but this scares me.

We will beat the Broncos...and lose the next week. This team will be 9-7 or 8-8...and it will be painful

 

If we beat the Broncos this week we’ll be back to our usual 500 with 10 games left to play. A little early to say the season is shot but we are definitely in an early hole.

We need a game wrecker in a bad way. We don’t have anyone on our team that is a consistent game charger that other teams have to game plan around.

Maybe Simmons is that guy but this soon after an ACL and not being in football shape they odds are he won’t light the world on fire this year regardless so let’s hope they’re smart with this guy and out too much on him too early.

 

Amari Rodgers for Clemson tore his ACL in the spring game and made the opening game of the college season.

I'm also thinking he practices 2-4 weeks before they even think about bringing him in.
