    Or he might not

Hes very tall, doesnt take many hits and hes bigger than the guys tackling him

What I don't understand is why they always start the game trying to run him inside when the defense is fresh and usually overpowering our OL to some degree. Start him off with those outside zone runs and leave the inside runs for when we closing the game out. Obviously you can't run the same play the whole game till you get to the end but I feel they need to start him off with run plays that are what he does best. Other than the plays where he tripped or slipped, his negative plays are him getting hit behind the LoS.

For some reason I feel this thread was started for Fry to practice banter between his troll accounts.

I’m happy with him, but No way I’d break the bank on a 2nd contract. Even though he’s huge, he’s not immune to punishment. Hits are hits, no matter how big you are. And they add up over time. That’s why RB’s always fall off by 30. He’s had a ton of carries in his career (not a ton in TN, but had several 30-40 carry games at Bama).

I’m all for a team friendly deal, but I doubt him and his agent are in the same boat. If he wants too much, let him walk and draft his replacement.

    What's too much

Going rate for top backs is about 10M. Half that of WRs, and RBs touch it 2x as much

The other caveat to Henry is that he really wasn't that much earlier in his career. He was on the bench more often than not when Murray was here.

Seems like may be we need to switch the roles up between Lewis and Henry....

I'm only half joking here. Henry is nearly impossible to tackle in the open field one on one. Swing him out more often or do more screen passes with him on 1st down. Pretty much guaranteed he get you positive yards.

And he had very little mileage coming out of college. Only really played one year.

The question will be... What happens when the speed starts to go? I could see him actually become a better back. He'd be forced to learn how to be a bruiser at that point.

I've been saying they need to throw Henry the ball more. Design something that he can catch the ball with a little bit of breathing room and he'll get yardage.

    This is crazy.

A game from cj was like
    1, -2, 2, 1, 3,-2, -1, 47, 4, 1, 2, -1, 0, 3, 1, 2, 1

    Henry is more like
    2, ,-1, 4, 0, 3, -1, 7, 4, 1, 14, 3, 8, 22, 5, 4, 9, 5

If henry could catch it would make this almost a pointless argument minus the 2k season.
