Post-Game Thread Jags 20-Titans 7

They should change their name to the Tennessee Trashcans. Team is just garbage.

 

So much of that was straight up awful. Hate losing night games fu** ..... especially to damn Jacksonville

 

Watching Derrick Mason on Fox's post game coverage and I'm sorry...I liked D-Mase the player but as an analyst he's a cluster****. Claims that the Titans finishing 8 of 17 on 3rd down conversion would move them from worst in the league into the top 20. Earth to Derrick, that's still sub .500 for the game. I'm pretty confident they will still be hanging in the bottom two or three after Sunday's games.

 

Need Lewan back.
Need some additional OL replacements but I know we’re already running on backups there.
I can’t wait to see if Simmons offers something to the complete absence of pass rush.
Mariota might as well sit now but I’m not sure THill will live back there either.
Penalties were very ill timed and a big part of the loss today.

Good run D. Until the game sealing run, fournette had 11 carries for -8 yards or something close.
Pass d was alright but without pass rush, guys will get open. Jax gave a handful of gift drops though.
DW at least showed up late.

 

A pathetic performance tonight.

The offensive line failed badly and Mariota is clearly not a quarterback that can operate under any pressure. He folds repeatedly is clutch situations.

I have no idea what they can do now. It seems like they need help in so many areas. This game tonight was not nearly as close as the score indicates. Jacksonville is really not a good NFL team, which says much about what the Titans are this time.

Maybe they can't go down any more than tonight. Dare we hope for improved play in the future? Of course we can hope, but we surely cannot count on it.

 

We need to get Munchak to come back as our Oline coach. He could coach up a bunch 3rd and 4th rounders into a top unit in the league.

We haven’t had a good Oline or Oline coach since.

 

It's probably an attempt to get Henry going.

 

Bet munchak just kind of laughs about these games. He was knocked for having 7 guys block every play while DW and Sharpe were the only passing targets, but MM stayed upright way more.
Teams knew we were running and still won 9 games.

 

What’s the point though - he will just bolt for the next OC gig in a year or 2
