    We gain nothing long term by going with Tannehill. The basket of eggs has to be with Mariota. That's where the potential is. But make no mistake Mariota has underperformed and is tracking in the wrong direction right now.

    I could give two craps about “potential”. I want to win now....and I don’t care who it is behind Center, but Mary better step it up, because we should have won this game. 19 points and your defense holding them to under 160 yards should get the job done. 5 years in, he should be making better throws and decisions. If they think Tannehill is the better man to win, then play him and worry about the future later. This team is good enough to win now.

    As long as you know it’s not realistic. Unfortunately you’ll never convince some people that Wins aren’t a QB stat especially if the Wins are coming despite the QB play.
