It's all relative. Maybe everyone else is just that much worse.

 

Technically yea, but I don’t think it’s useful.

Again, no one needs this stat to determine that MM isn’t throwing enough TDS.

 

Maybe when Lewan is back, and Saffold is in last year's mid-season form, Jones plays like he did in his first year as a Titan, Pamphile makes a solid showing and Conklin gets back to that All-Pro form? Then sure.

Or maybe they are thinking like me...that someone at some point is gonna realize our best line is probably Lewan, Saffold, Jones, Conklin, Kelly and figure we'll get there eventually.

But based on pre-season...Kelly hasn't been up to par from his late season performance, Saffold hasn't looked good, Jones has been inconsistent, Pamphile was so good they left the competition open another week and he won by default, and Conklin has been solid. Not what I'd call the 4th best OL based on the pre-season. Based on the pre-season and that Lewan is missing the first quarter of the season, hard to rate us better than avg...at best based on what we've shown. It's easier to argue we've shown below avg so far in pre-season. Our qb's have been harassed quite a bit and not just Mariota.

But it'll be what it's gonna be. Doesn't matter where they are ranked, only how well they play!

 

Yeah, but in hindsight, if you could go back, take a position player at Mary's spot, and Goff the following year, we'd be in much better shape.

It was based on grades for the preseason, so not opinion based, just the best grades by team.

Their grading is open to debate, but I think their grade confirmed what we saw in Conklin, he was back to full form and had a fantastic preseason.

 

I was being a bit sarcastic...mainly because based on the pre-season, Saffold didn't play well, Kelly was inconsistent, Pamphil and Douglas weren't good, neither was Jones, but Conklin looked good! Conklin playing well (and Lewan playing well) are about the only positives on the OL in pre-season we had!

 

Conklin is the perfect example of why I'm glad we aren't pushing Simmons to play this year. Just because you're medically cleared, doesn't mean you'll be the same player. Conk was not himself last year, but it's clear now how much that injury limited him.

 

Stop posting sad WR stats. We get it.

For the record, like 15 teams have a WR that reaches that goal in a single season or even every season.
