    Meh. Brees’s worst seasons were the first two as a starter. He continued to improve from there. His questions weren’t performance based. Only question for him was an injury.

    I lived in San Diego at the time, I'm just going off of memory. The chargers drafted E. Manning (later traded to NY Giants for P. Rivers) because of his injuries and performance. I remember most of the fans calling him a "Bust" and couldn't wait to move on from him.

    Man, if Mariota has a season like Brees’s last two in SD, we’d be doing back flips.

    Because mariota looks like he's running into a wall far too often against preseason defenses who really haven't game planner as of how to stop him. While Tannehill looks like he could, given the circumstances.
