Wait, what? I thought Kaep received a settlement from the NFL over this. Am I wrong about that?

    *edit*

N.F.L. Settlement With Kaepernick and Reid Is Said to Be Much Less Than $10 Million

I guess the money didn't last long enough.... Wow, that didn't take long.

Fair enough, but after agreeing to the settlement he's going to have to find some other league to do it.

He's just pissed 'cause his buddy Reid got signed for a reportedly $22M extension. Pretty much discredits his argument of collusion against anybody that "protests".

Oh- and how's the Nike thing working out? They also pulled back from him.

Simple truth is that if you chit where you eat, you are going to eat chit. It's a tough lesson that everybody should learn, especially those that are impressionable in this current sociopolitical climate.

Then he should've accepted the offer to play with the CFL/whatever that league that went under was.

Instead he just demanded more money, which is really what his whole stunt has been about this whole time.

His settlement was not much and I expect half was taken by lawyers and half of the remaining would have been taken in taxes.

Denver and Seattle looking into signing him but he would not take "Backup money" so that never went anywhere. He did look into that league that flopped but would not play for less than $20 million a year, which would have been more than the rest of a team put together.

Maybe now he is willing to play for third string money.
