Dudes always talk , something always slips out , even if it’s a vibe of discontent, even ex players . With Mariota all dudes do is emphatically state how much they love playing for him and how they have his back. With many other quarterbacks dudes stay quiet or say nice things half heartedly. NFL guys are no good at completely concealing their feelings. If we’re gonna point out all his faults which indeed are valid then give him full credit for his attributes as well. With those bad numbers he has , the reason this debate even exists is because his ceiling, leadership, athleticism and character are super off the charts . For better or worse these are facts. Let’s keep it all the way real , his teammates love him and that’s a huge reason why he’s SUPER CLUTCH. I’m no Mariota over Titan fan , if Tanny’s better by ALL MEANS.

You're reaching here. He has teammates on both sides of the ball that really value and vouch for him. For example, the last game vs Jags in 2017 when he stiffed armed Church or the KC Wildcard game. Guys on the defense had all the faith in him and encouraged him to take over and disregard Robitchie's play calling.

That was the story in 2017. Then 2018 happened, and the team probably realized that the play calling wasn't the lone issue that they thought it was. You sure didn't hear any talks of overcoming coaching or having him take over the playbook. It's why he's facing an uphill battle and is viewed as a bottom 5 QB by coaches and executives around the league.

Well, the haters here and the supporters here will get the answer soon when the season starts but at this point I'm just tired of the constant bashing. No one is ever happy here. Henry was monstrous 2nd half of the season but lots of folks still want another RB so it just seems Titan fans will never be satisfied.

Haha, be careful what you wish for! Gabbert started a game last year with MM dressed on the bench!

Pretty sure Gabbert got injured and MM came on.

MM too injured to start, but not too injured to play. Was odd.

Oh my freaking God dude. Ben over this a thousand times. The story of 2018 was injuries. The only uphill battle he is facing is staying healthy for a full season. You already see some guys missing time right now so it's not as simple as people make it out to be.
