    The Ibanez has Dimarzio pickups in it. Fred in the bridge and a PAF Pro in the neck, I just replaced the single coil but forgot what it was.

    I got it because I didn’t want to put a bunch of unnecessary wear on the Gibson. I got a pretty decent deal on it from guitar center with a trade in.

    I like it quite a bit. I had to have a cut away and having something built in North America that’s under $600 is hard to beat. I love the color of it but the finish is unusual, it’s a matte color and the fret board is similar. Took me a minute to get used to, but I like it now.

    It’s honestly a good little guitar, not quite as bassy as I’d like but I got the Gibson for that. It checks off a lot of boxes for it’s price point.

    Nice. A cutaway acoustic/electric and a strat will most likely be my next guitars. That 600ish range is about the budget I will likely have for the cutaway too.

    These are my current gits (not pictured: a cheap Yamaha acoustic):

    Reverend Sensei. Love this guitar. But it's the only "nice" guitar I've ever owned. So the quality difference between it and the Squiers and Kramer I'd previously owned just jumps out at me every single time I pick it up.

    Taylor Big Baby. I like this guitar. But it was a bit of an impulse buy that I now kinda regret. I'm just not in love with the sound. It's too bright and just doesn't have enough oomph. However, the neck is fanfriggintastic and being a "15/16th-scale" it is slightly smaller/slimmer than your typical dread which makes it extremely comfortable to play. For those reasons I will hold onto it. It'll be my "beater" I don't mind taking wherever.

    Currently I'm just playing on a Vox Adio, which is a little desktop modeling amp. Sounds surprisingly good for what it is and can get loud enough for my current purposes. But a bigger and better amp will definitely be my next major gear purchase, before anymore guitars sadly.

    Also... only pedal I currently own is a Big Muff Deluxe. Gonna wait til after I get a decent amp to start building the pedal board.
