So some “fans” will be disappointed if Mariota balls.

    Anybody else moving to Indiana?

He needs to cut the extra polite crap out and get wicked . Something gotta click before the 4th quarter of games or he could be a backup in 2020 . It’s definitely sense of urgency time and I’m eager to see improved moxy and more confident body language from 8 as early as minicamp and into pre season. He’ll always be layed back but that “good little boy” stuff gotta go . It’s grown man time . TitanUp

Yeah, someone on the team is going to have to pull a DeMarco move and hook up with his girl. That should fire him up!

Mariota is actually in a very tough spot this year. Titans will *potentially* have a lot of leverage when it comes to contract negotiations (depending on how he plays in 2019).

What team actually has a QB need? Bengals but they still have Dalton under contract until 2021. So unless they cut him where would Mariota actually have a team wanting to sign him as a starter?

The Titans could potentially be the only team (and maybe we won’t even be in on him) who wants to sign Marcus to start for 2020 because there simply isn’t a big QB need around the league right now.

2019 will be a very interesting year for the Titans and our future as a franchise.

Usually but there aren’t many veteran guys on expiring deals. It’s a bunch of young QB’s and then great to elite QB’s.

    Cardinals - Just drafted Murray
    49ers - Jimmy G
    Jets - drafted Darnold
Raiders - have Carr on a massive contract
Bucs - sane spot we are with Winston
Giants - I think we all know Daniel Jones
Jags - emptied the bank for Foles
    Lions - Stafford
    Bills - Josh Allen
    Broncos - Drew Lock
Bengals - Dalton on big deal
    Packers - Rodgers
Dolphins - just traded for Rosen
    Falcons - Ryan
    Redskins - just drafted Haskins
    Panthers - Cam
    Browns - Baker
Vikings - Cousins on massive deal
Steelers - Big Ben just signed extension
Seahawks - Wilson just signed extension
Ravens - first round pick Lamar Jackson
    Texans - Watson
    Bears - Trubisky
    Colts - Luck
Cowboys - Dak is a FA after this year
    Chargers - Rivers
    Chiefs - Maholmes
    Saints - Brees just extended
    Rams - Goff
    Patriots - Brady

Unless someone retires there isn’t a spot. Too many young QB’s have been taken the last 3 years.

The only “openings” will be us, Dallas, and Tampa Bay.
