    I hope we really go best player available. If DL and Edge top 15 talent is depleted then go reciever, TE , OL whoever or whatever playmaker slips with most value take him . We need real assets more so than filling holes.

    You wouldn’t draft Gronkowski @ 19 overall? That’s what I think most are hoping for. Gronk, Wycheck, Delanie Walker, and similar. Kinda like taking a great receiver but with added benefits in the run game.

    Allen and Boldin got open a LOT in college without having to use double moves out of the slot. Big difference.

    Again, NFL CB's aren't gonna fall for that. And his first route was not great. He looks like he gets out of balance when he turns up field which is why he is a little slow on that break. The second one is better, but you'll rarely see this in the NFL with #1 WR vs #1 CB. NFL cb's are trained to give up the underneath completion and tackle you at 3-5yds then stop the 3-5 completion but risk a big play over the top when playing off coverage.

    If you need to play Harry in the slot to get him open, is he really a first round prospect?

    All of the teams can watch the same tape. He's a beast of a wr...especially in college against a bunch of 5'9 and 5'10 cb's who have the same speed as him and usually no ball skills. But even then, he rarely gets much separation and he is not sudden or explosive out of his breaks running routes. It's why he chose not to run a 3 cone or 20yd shuttle at combine nor his pro day.

    Can he get better and develop into a great route runner and turn into a Boldin or Smith-Schuster? Yes. But he's not a lock. And with his average speed, he NEEDS to learn how to get open in the NFL to be successful.
