We all know what he is, as does the top of the organization on down.....Often injured and inconsistent. Dude is better than Locker, just a weaker arm. Anyone that says otherwise is nuts. I will say, we are likely going offense, so whoever comes in when he leaves will at least have options around him. I still hope we go defense, but I have my doubts since the DL/DE in this draft is deep.

I injured that nerve last year when I broke my arm. Also, at times I would tweak the nerve slightly, after. Whenever I did I lost most of the function in my hand.

Some people here may like to snicker about "tingles" but it is more than that.

The good news is, that it does heal.

No change for me. He roughed it out to play poorly except when it mattered. The fact he gets hurt so often means start the search for 2020 QB.

Yeah. This changes zero for me. We knew he was injury prone. Knowing he was more injured than I thought doesn’t change anything.

The only thing knowing he was worse than thought does, is help give excuses for those that think he’s the long term guy.
Personally, I think it gives more reason to the opposite.

How about we start a thread for what is your minimum output requirement from MM to earn a new contract?

For me, anything less than 3500 yards, 25 TD and no more than 12 Int means he should be replaced.

Yeah no change for me either. It's year 5. The guy is what he is. At this point hoping and praying he stays healthy and puts up legit franchise QB type numbers is about like giving a restaurant a 5th shot when it already gave you food poisoning the first 4 times.

But I get the organization's hands are tied for 2019. I just hope we don't pay this dud 100 million dollars and really screw up our future.

Play 16 games and put up actually competent starting QB numbers. Honestly though, even then it would be hard for me to feel great about it. It would still be 1 year out of 5 that he's managed to stay healthy and play well.
