FWIW CBS ranks Browning as the last QB, 7th or UDFA

BUT they have Shurmur ranked 1 spot above, and I kinda liked Shurmur tape.

 

He looked really good at combine, probably moved into the conversation for late 1st early 2nd.

 

Is he that good?

I watched his Clemson tape, not a fan based on that game..

 

Haven't really seen much, but his ball placement and timing was as good as anyone on Saturday. I can see someone taking a chance on him over Jones as the 4th qb taken.

 

Yeah, he's an accurate touch pocket passer. He's getting comparisons to Alex Smith, but he was making NFL throws and had a high completion % in a pro style offense so we'll see.

 

The QB question in this years draft begins and ends for me with Will Grier. I love everything about him. He is a baller, got swagger, great arm and awesome accuracy and ball placement.

He does throw INTs and had some off the field issues early in his career, which is the only knock on him I see. I'd take him in the 3rd no question. He's an NFL calibur starter if you ask me.

Also, I'm willing to deal with a higher INT number from my QB if he puts up higher TD numbers. Yeah Marcus only threw 8 INTs this past year, but he only threw 11 TDs. I'll take 25 TDs and 15 INTs over Marcus's numbers all day.
