They can pick whoever they want to go to the combine.

...and he has tons of film, can still do pro days, can still interview with teams, etc.

    watched Chase Winovich -

    Pros:

Natural Ability to Stand up a Blocker
    Good Hands
Usually Wins Battles (gets under) Taller Tackles.
    Natural Forward Burst.
    Size & Speed

    Cons:

Pass Coverage.. Hits the 'Oh Sh--' button too often (Ill explain if you don't know what I mean lol)
    Poor Run Diagnosis.
    Takes poor tackling angles occasionally

Has anyone watched Sutton Smith from NIU? I was doing a sim mock draft and he was available in the 4th so I looked tape up on him. Kinda impressive. Good production and exciting style of play. Reminds me of Troy Polamalu. I think he’s an interesting LB prospect. Opinions?

Haven't studied him, but he dominated the few times I watched him play on television.

Championship game vs. Buffalo. 2nd half of the video he becomes more impressive.

Good linebacker prospect. Checks “front multiplicity” box. Kinda small and may be a risk in the run game but seems to hold up most of the time and makes big plays often enough to make up for it. Seems to have good speed and used to playing at the los against the big guys. Wins with speed, technique, effort, and determination.

I’d for sure spend a 4th on him. Another explosive LB on the roster.

Brian Burns measured in at 6'4 3/4" and 249lbs. Great size for him. We'll see how he runs at the weight.
