He was banged up but find me a football player not banged up after week-1

His style of play was frustrating. Sometimes a RB has to create his own yards by taking on defenders and forcing them backwards. This is why Derrick Henry wasnt effective weeks 2-13. He ran around guys too often when going thru them was the way to go.

Remember from geometry class kids; the shortest distance is always a straight line.

I think we ran him in the ground and could have gotten more out of him if we used him a little differently.

...and major injuries definitely ended his career.

Not surprised at all after his payday. It’s easy to not get injured when you fall over anytime someone gets near you.

Why in the heck is there even discussion about taking a RB in the 2nd? I’m glad to see most of this thread realizes how wasteful that would be.

Henry and Lewis are fine. Way too many other holes to even consider this.

Well Lewis is 160lbs and cant do much more than catch a screen pass. Wanting another RB isnt that crazy an idea

He meets criteria of 3rd down back. Use Henry. RB is fine. No need for another one especially as an early pick

Hopefully we can see Fluellen, he looks like a good 3rd stringer.

People are too tough on him. By the time the OL adjusted to the new scheme, they had run him into the ground. In his early season form, he would have been very successful in the same situations that Henry thrived in. He actually had some solid blocking and play calling against LA, and he looked like the same guy he was in NE. But he's a situational/rotational player. Making him a bell cow was stupid.

We, 100%, need a well rounded back as either as a draft pick, or a free agent, or asking more of Fluellen.

Lewis can thrive in a spread, but he simply doesn't fit a lot of what the Titans try to do.

I feel like Henry fits exactly what he Titans try to do, run the ball and play defense. For whatever reason, until week 11/12, the titans tried to run with Lewis.
