Think Corey Davis makes an NFL roster next year?

 

Corey Davis made catches that this Franchise has never seen...nor DGB has made...Stick Corey with a consistent QB and oh my lord....He’s plenty good enough. His health is the only concern I have.

 

AAF have any roster openings?

Lol I like where your head was at and I get where you were going with this ... but it does seem far fetched ... remind Mariota of his heyday? Heh wishful thinking , this is more of a meh depth move that probably won’t mean much in the grand scheme of things - realistically

 

Nobody said DGB couldn't play, we just didn't want him playing for us . . . . That ship has sailed, time to move on. Nothing to see here .

 

DGB has water between his ears....That alone makes him worse. He just ran around aimlessly waiting for a throw. Zero playbook understanding in a big ol above average receiver body. People liked him because he was big and athletic. That’s all.....

Too many people can't tell the difference between athletic ability and skillz.
The guy was a hell of an athlete and a physical specimen.
That doesn't mean he was ever going to become skilled at the WR position.
He couldn't remember his assignments from the playbook. Option routes were out of the question.
Skillz start between the ears.

 

That and he regressed badly after his first year. Either stopped trying or got the yips, or both.

 

I have heard his name mentioned, although know nothing about him beyond hype and that he may be the best C coming out. That said, I would think we'd have to use a 1st on him as if he's the top C, I doubt he's there in the 2nd. Hell, based on the past few years, the top C hasn't even made it to where we'd be picking. FTR I'm okay with using that pick on that position, but you HAVE to hit on that player.

 

This. I was a big DGB fan and admittedly was happy they drafted him because IF it worked out, he could be a beast. But the guy was simply too dumb. The fact he's not really playing says all you need to know.

I'm shocked this comparison is even happening. Well not really, considering it @520 leading the way lol. But seriously, if Davis had a legit QB throwing to him, he'd be a monster. The skill, athleticism and intelligence are all there.
