Jachai Polite...thoughts on him

    I haven't gotten too deep into studying this draft class yet, but this guys stands out to me and I certainly liked the last gator LB we took in the 1st rnd. i love the fact that he causes forced fumbles unlike INTs which sometimes are just gimmes for the CB secondary to a bad throw...forced fumbles are always created by making an impact play.

    I like the fact that he has a great outside speed rush, but he shows a Freeny-esque spin move in the game against LSU to get a sack and then later in the game beats a double team for a sack.

    This guy just looks like a football player

    He is good but small. Could be another Vic Beasley or another Barkevious Mingo.

    I thought he was a little light myself, but ESPN lists him at 260 for some reason

    I don't like him. He's undersized, stiff, and doesn't look particularly quick. I'm a UT fan and I have been surprised to see he's rated so highly because he didn't stand out at all and our O-line was trash.

    I'd much rather take my chances with a small school guy with mega production, like Jaylon Ferguson.

    He is slightly undersized, but he is about the same size as Dee Ford.

    He is not stiff and he is very quick.

    He has played in 32 games in his career and has 8 forced fumbles...

    I would rather have a 260 lb twitchy edge rusher or a 320 lb inside destroyer, but I don't think I would complain taking this Gator in the first.
