I asked why in the previous thread...

All I can figure is Green Bay is going all in on Rodgers. It's his team and they don't want a veteran HC that'll butt heads with him.

That's what I'd like to see as well. I want an offense that the players can pick up right away, all these coordinators and coach's now days trying to ''out think" other teams on a week to week basis. Look at Lafluer one game the play calling is on point and plays are working team is sucessful and we get a W, next week the play calling is totally opposite of the prior week and the plays go to some flashy tricky nonsense, to bone headed run Lewis up the middle ****.

This is what GB gets to look forward to no real consistency in the game plan and calling come Sunday. Look at the Ravens D, the new coordinator said he simplified the plays during a interview, basically he dumbed it down and it worked so he stuck with it. Ya players factor in but the mentality of if it ain't broke don't fix it carried that team to the playoffs.

I dont know man, I dont know LaFleur well enough to really have an opinion on him, and he seems like a decent, smart guy but is he ready for a HC job? I mean he isnt even 40, and from what I can tell he just managed other folks systems and hasnt really done much innovating on his own.

It also seems weird how some of this stuff works, like as if theres this network behind the scenes determining who becomes coaches, like Vrabel gets hired after being DC for a year regardless of the results of that year as a DC, now LaFleur came here to "call plays" for a year, and gets walked into the HC of Packers regardless of results. For a results oriented industry, alot of jobs are given to dudes with poor results in recent history, seems like other things are factoring into them getting hired.

Teams finally getting tired of recycling the same old coaches, time for the younger guys to get a shot.

My thought as well. Honestly, what were the Packers thinking, or what did they even see? Sucks to have yet another new OC, but I hated his play calling so I'm not upset.

Exactly, they hired Lefluer BECAUSE he was inexperienced and unqualified. They are giving this team to Rodgers, and wanted a guy they knew Rodgers could walk all over

Just like he held McVays jock in LA, he will be holding Rodgers in GB

LaFluer looking like a lady killer now.

It's sad to say, but he just looks right in those colors.

I'm sorry, but Sean Mcvay looks like he'd kill your children to win a game. This guy looks like he just took a nice, satisfying poop. Or maybe is in the process. What kind of a vet player want to go to war for that?

Yeah, Tony Dungy was a real ball buster.

GB is unique. His demeanor will be fine there.
