    Science is stupid.........sometimes.

So no, most of the time. On occasion there are RB that just look the part but I think the likelihood of finding a decent back later is higher than finding any other position.

When you say best and go by total yards, there is an obvious discrepancy since Elliot is rated #1 due mostly to him having over 40 carries more than anyone else on the list. Lindsay was probably the most impressive runner considering he broke 1000yds in only 8 starts and had a ridiculous 5.4 yard per carry. Another example is Adrian Peterson having 17 yards more than Henry only like 30 more carries.

    You get the point.

If you want an super elite RB like Elliot or Barqley, they will go top 10. Guys with some supreme ability but more 1 dimensional usually fall to late 1 or 2nd round. But yes, there are so many good rb's you can find undrafted free agents who are solid to great rb's...just your chance is lower.

Also helps if you have a very good ol or a great scheme...or both!

You draft a running back for your scheme, you shouldn’t build around a running back anymore. Only two teams have done that successfully, imo.

Is that right 8 games to get 1000? Thats probably a record for fastest non QB to 1000

8 starts but 15 games. 13 of which he had at least 10 carries. Not diminishin* the accomplishment, but also not giving credit for some super effort unheard of.
