Wonder if we could get ANYTHING in a trade for mm8?

Not likely since he's hurt, may need surgery, and only has one year on his deal.

Frankly, I'd be fine trading Mary, rolling with Bridgewater or Taylor, and either filling other needs or trading back for 2020.

The real hell will be if we end up with Mart and Gabby, and Mary isn't ready to go week 1, or has suffered nerve damage to the point where he is never the same (manning or Chad Pennington situation.)

Although I guess then we'd be set up for the tank season.

If Mariota gets traded, QB becomes either the first round pick or an over priced FA for whoever is available. The injury is the big question mark, but if he’s healthy enough to play, that’s a better scenario than forcing the QB hand if you ask me.
If a QB were to come along in a trade, I can’t imagine we’re talking about a legit starter.

The best thing for the franchise is that Mariota gets it all figured out and like Stafford did, finally puts the injuries behind him. I hate the thoughts of having to bypass another great defensive guy to take ANOTHER QB.

Keep Gabbert and draft a lower round qb to develop.

    Terrible plan.

Late QB's almost never develop, and we'd be carrying 3 QB's on the 53 man roster.

If we're getting a rookie QB itll have to be before round 3 and pray we land a Nick Foles/ Russel Wilson in the process.

I would like to see us carry a third QB but I agree with not drafting one. Most QBs drafted past the first do not even see the end of their rookie deal.

2012 produced some good QB's after the 1st round. Foles, Wilson and Cousins aint bad.

Andy Dalton wasnt a 1st round pick, neither was Jimmy G.

I really dont know what the overall landscape at QB looks like for this draft but Im studying up on that now hoping to find a diamond in the rough.

Tyrod was a 6th rd QB. Hes done well for a 6th rd

Point Im shooting for is not all the best QB's have to be 1st round picks. Some years theres a surplus of QB's. Ive been told this is not one of those years but Im going to look at the QB's and see if thats true for myself.
