I think it’s dumb how many fans in general (not limited to titans fans) always think throwing a QB at the problem is the fix. I can only point to Cleveland so many times.

Mariota will have the off season to recover from his latest injury. Option year, prove it year. If he doesn't improve the team will draft his replacement or at least competition.

I don't think that I'd break the bank for an AB unless we had a consistent QB that we knew would get our money's worth out of him.

Brown would certainly make our offense 10x better and leave even more room for Henry. Could you imagine Corey and Brown, and you can't double em both, then you have Delanie for the underneath routes and Henry with 7 or 8 in the box. Too bad it'll never happen because it seems too perfect.

I mean he might only get 3 catches a game, and ask for a trade by week 3, but I'm not trying to think about that Part.:bored:

The Browns idiot GM picking bad QBs has nothing to do with us

    Their failures are on them

If we had traded for Garoppolo then yes we should go after AB. Mm would be under throwing him and AB would get mad. If we change QBs yes go after AB. If we keep a game manager like MM it doesn't matter if we had AB Adams Hopkins Allen, our qb cant read defenses.

Except it is relatable. This team is more than a QB short of SB contenders and many posters just keep pointing to QB as if this team was held back by only QB play.

The similarities are that Cleveland needed every position on the field in about 10 of their drafts since returning and they’ve wasted it on QB after QB knowing that it didn’t matter which one, they were set up for failure.

Call it the David Carr disease. Carr was a pretty good QB and probably could have been around as a starter a lot longer but was destroyed his first 3 years. Not just the physical damage of getting sacked league record times, but the inability to mentally trust an OL ever again.

Weeden should have been ok, Garcia was fine everywhere else, Manziel wasn’t a terrible QB on the field. I’m sure there’s more but instead of building around a QB and being patient, they continued to throw QBs at dumpster fires to inevitably fail.

Titans have built around Mariota pretty good and they should continue to do so for 1 more year and keep building the D so no matter if Mariota is the guy or not, the next QB is already set up for success or as some put it “without the built in excuses”.
