    I'm more confused why Casey is up with no assistance or wrap or anything, and is done for the year... man these injuries are disappointing. Would love to see this squad go to battle for a playoff spot with a fully healthy Ryan, Casey, Rak, Conklin, Mariota, and Jonnu (not to mention delanie)

    Theres an assumption most of us are making that if we keep Marcus past next year it will require top QB money because that is what we are used to seeing. I dont want us to be in a Derek Carr situation where we have a very average QB, or above average one with injury concerns, that we pay top of market value. Do you see any possibility of Marcus staying at a discounted rate? Maybe in the 13M range? That wouldnt handicap us too much if he were to play at the level he has been and gets hurt a few games a year. And if he were to grow as a player and become a top 10 talent, that extra money would be valuable to building a SB caliber roster.

    You see many teams nowadays going all in during their good QBs rookie deal, then having to scrap alot of talent when they pay him. Paying Marcus on a discount may allow us to avoid that trend. I may be dreaming. What are your thoughts?
