Pre-Game Thread Game 9: Patriots @ Titans

Its supposed to be pretty cold this weekend to. Hope they are ready for it.

 

Yeah, but part of that is because teams don't rush him. I don't know why but they try to cover instead of blitz.

 

Teams know it's a wasted effort so they double down on cover guys

 

Which doesn't seem to be very effective either.

 

Need to pressure him but he picks apart the blitz. He gets it out far too quick.

Flat out guys need to win their matchups up front. Best way to get to him is rushing 4 and dropping the rest.

 

We definitly need to get pressure Brady if we expect to win. Last year in the PO Casey was invisible, he needs to show up this game.

 

I have no problem letting Brady dink and dunk us down the field to avoid the quick score. Make them eat up some clock on offense to limit the number of possessions that Brady has. Holding them to FGs is key....and limiting Brady possessions.....thus no turnovers on our part and maybe some trickeration

 

That's the way we ALWAYS played Manning... rush 4 and everyone else cover.

Never worked, but we kept doing it.

 

With the quickness that Brady gets rid of the ball it won't matter if we send extra blitzers. That's why their offense is so good

 

If our defense can get to Brady and our offense can score I think we can win a close one. Monday night was the 1st I’ve seen them play well on both sides hopefully that continues. We do seem to play up to our opponents so hopefully we’re fired up
