You are correct. Why don’t we sign the very best? Randy Moss as the #1 to take the top off the D? Jerry Rice and Steve Largent for the middle routes. And, Marshall Faulk out of the backfield! Mariota would be pretty good, right? We would not have to criticize him, ever. EVER! EVER!

I’m not saying Mariota is free of blame, he’s done more than his share of sucking but when a team and qb lose their top two weapons on offense, you REPLENISH b4 Halloween. Get it ?

This is straight up frustrating. Jonnu Smith is absolute garbage. I cannot believe the draft capital we gave up for him.

If this is what picks get you, just spend it on a known guy via trade. FFS

Of those, only Malcolm Mitchell has any potential to improve. I thought he was playing well before his injury, not sure why he hasn't been able to make it back yet.

I would take a chance on him, can't be worse than the guys we have now. Plus he fits Jrob's criteria as a former Patriot.

It also gets you guys like Kevin Byard, its unfortunate Smith doesn't seem to be improving. But there's a lot to consider when making these types of trades.

Would you prefer 8 games with Tate on this team that has shown it's not a contender this year, or draft another Byard type cornerstone player that would be under minimal contract for 4 years?

Im keeping the pick and taking my chances in the draft, and use the money saved in free agency, maybe even on Tate.

Late third rounds picks are not often too great

TE though is at a major deficit. This year and last, we should not have gone in with Jonu as our number 2. They should have gone after another number 2.

How do we know this team isn't ready? The defense ranks well and we were 3-1 before sh*t receiver play cost us 3 losses in a row. This is as vulnerable as the Patriots have been since Brady took over, the Steelers are a non-factor, Jags are terrible, the Chiefs can be beat it won't be easy but we have done it in past years with Mularkey, Texans are fools gold playing an easy schedule so far.

Everyone knew our receiver situation was a need coming into this season and JRobbed didn't address it in a free agency class that is 2x better than this years, what makes you think he'll finally admit his draft picks at that position have underperformed? If you still have trust in his draft picks hitting, that's on you man.
