Titans sign WR Roger Lewis to PS

Lewis didn’t look terrible last year with the giants when given a chance.

 

Can he catch balls that hit him directly in the hands? If so I'm 100% down with him joining the team.

 

Looks like Batson will be active I would guess for the next 3 weeks. 2 games and our bye. At that point, I would hope that Lewis is up to speed on playbook and they switch spots.

 

Batson is a twig. He is going to get manhandled.

 

so we bring up batson, who couldn’t beat out nick williams in preseason.. then we sign roger lewis, who was cut because of his drops and poor separation skills.. JRob is going full ruston conservative.

 

Jrobs master plan for the following scenario:

1. Make sure MM8 fails so he can re-sign him for cheaper
2. Make sure MM8 fails so he can allow him to walk and he goes after Brian Hoyer since he is a Patriot backup then draft a QB

All of which sounds like a sucky plan. Fans will get tired of him and drive him out.

 

Then Mariota goes to the Pats and wins a superbowl and JRob drafts Tua

 

Tua would go high and we wouldn't have a top 5 pick anyways. But regardless, Jrob will still be too cheap to get real weapons to catch passes so we'll be back to where we started...

 

I would like to think they searched around for a trade but it didn't work out. Would explain why Batson decision simply wasn't made last night.
