I don't like how he runs or how he carries. Not very pleased so far. He is a beast, ok. But last game It felt It cost him to develop speed, and while under contact seemed to me he did not put much effort to secure his ball.

I need to to watch more of him, tbh

Lewis and Henry are good compliments. There will be weeks better suited to one or the other.

This week, netither did jack on the ground. Nobody has all year on the philly D. Lewis contributed as a pass catcher.

Other weeks, when the defense is more pass coverage based, will be Henry’s time to shine.

Mariota is our best RB right now. I think our issue starts up front with the blocking.

To be fair, Henry himself keeps saying he's playing like trash.

Personally, I think it's been a combination of good D's, bad run blocking and bad running.

Henry won't throw the Oline under the bus, but he's been hit as soon as he gets the handoff a lot. Again, against some good D fronts so I'm not blaming the Online completely...they have just seemed to pass block a hell of a lot better then they have done in the running game.

What we are seeing is why very, very teams have a 1 back system now. Yesterday was ugly from a rushing standpoint. But usually with 2 backs of different styles one will be successful if the other is not. Henry will have his days, so will Lewis. I figure both for about 600-800 yards before the season is over.

I just can't understand why a 6'3 250 lb guy would try and dance with a 180 lb db instead of bowl through him. I wish henry would use half of his power just half. He goes for the home run on every play, it drives me crazy

Most guys Henry's size cant out run the little DBs and have to plow into them. But he can outrun anyone in space so he does

Henry is getting the yards he can. This line has been bad since last year

Were back to 2010 when CJ would lose yards. Difference is Henry can impose his will and get back the lost yards so we stay semi on schedule on offense

    Henry is not the issue

He's not, but that dropped ball and run where he took a step backward before getting drilled looked really bad. Henry's running style is not pretty and looks really odd considering his size, but production is what matters and that hasn't really been the problem. At least considering the context, and that Lewis is well below his average YPC as well. People would have lost it if Henry went down by that shoestring tackle like Lewis did.

Yea neither guy is that effective ATM, its a line issue from what I can see

Things will open up when we're not playing the best run stop D's
