If Zion is ever to be a superstar in the NBA, he'll need to shed a lot of weight and work on his handles so he can play SF naturally. He's too short to play PF full time and is carrying way too much weight to beat NBA SF's off the dribble or stay in front of them.

most 4s in the NBA are stretch 4s now. Jason Tatum, PJ Tucker, Milsap is only 6'7, Draymond is 6'7, Kuzma, Whoever PHX starts (probably Warren who's 6'8). etc. I think he will have to lose some weight but he should be fine at PF.

How many short PF’s are elite though?

The two best players on that list are Draymond and Milsap who are 6’8”, those two inches make a huge difference, Zion is listed at 6’6”. Tatum is a small forward and also 6’8”.

Don't think he will have to be elite if he is surrounded by pieces. If he gets drafted by teams that run up and down the court he can be just like shawn marion on PHX. Tatum is naturally a 3 but will be playing alot of 4, could see Zion at 3 & 4. I also believe he will be 6'8 maybe 6'9 by the time he gets to the NBA.
