i listen to plenty of non top-40 rap and any and every other kind of music. doesn't mean i need to know every underground artist out there.

anyway, all of rap is bitten. it's a progression of biting styles

 

but i'm also at a point where i really don't like rappers that aren't having fun. just dont care that much about SICK BARS ON REAL TOPICS these days

Cage is pretty damned popular, though.

I think 'Subtle Art of the Breakup Song" by Cage is one of the best story-telling songs in rap history.

Really well done. But his sound definitely wasn't for everyone.
