I don't want to pee on a win, but basically, he has played like crap all pre-season, had a terrible season last year, had one game that was OK and someone comes and says something like that..... if anything you are the one doing what you are accusing.

I'm also not willing to give Mariota a game ball. He led us to 3 FG. Never threw the ball beyond 10 yards, and 5 of the completions still managed to find the TE and RB. It's the same old same old, leading to limited scoring. I don't know where the spread offense went that was so highly touted this year. Its even tighter than last year.

it is funny to me that this isnt the first time Mariota has had an OK game and people start talking about eating crow... come at me when Mariota has a good game.

We really need Conk back! I know that JAX has one of the best DLines but we shouldn't have been an absolute revolving door on the OL!

 

Preseason, who cares...crap in game one? He played a half and was solid. Last year he had a down year but had an anchor of an offense around his neck. I am not sold on him, but I am not going to overreact and I will give him credit for what he does well. I am not overreacting. I am not saying he is a hofer or even our franchise qb. But he came in while injured, played very well against a good defense and got a win. That is a fair assessment based on the info we have. Unfair is after he has played half a game that this year is a failure, he is a failure, and it is time to move on. That is an overreaction...what I am saying is not.
