    Because ownership is clueless. Mariota is not the QB to run a pass heavy offense sorry to say. He is simply not a good enough passer, so you need to be a run heavy team to help him out. But ownership wants “sexy” because they think people will pay more for it, but fact is people will pay to see winning football.

    The Titans offense ranked 23rd last season. It was predictable, boring and ineffective most of the time. From a fan’s perspective, it was often unwatchable even in games the team ended up winning.

    The Titans won despite their offense—rarely because of it. Mularkey wasn’t going to change it which is why he’s gone.

    Does a flashy offense trump winning? Of course not. But an effective offense wins and is much more entertaining to watch.

    Think just winning is enough? Check the true fan attendance in the final two home games.

    I cant wait to see this effective offense that loses the game again! Because when I see 0TDs, 3INTs, 50% passing, sub-50 passer rating, more field goals than offensive TDs ... I swell with pride of how much more effective and entertaining this offense is than last years, win-loss record be damned
