Cassel was something like 1-2 or 2-1 when we signed him

Gabbert same deal, won a few games not long before we signed him. Kaep won once out of ten games his last season. Thats a winning % of 0.100. That is not backup material.

Lol...ok chief...Niners weapons were worse than what we have...way worse and he still had a higher TD/INT ratio...The point that he couldn't get a training camp invite to compete vs. Gabbert is ridiculous. He's more of a proven product than Falk and if this organization was more serious about winning then they would've at least extended a training camp invite...

    Don't fall into the narrative

Youre the one falling for the narrative actually

Kaep doesn't play fundamental football, THATS why hes unemployed by the NFL.

He doesnt follow the script and coaches hate those kinds of QB's. Hes also not committed to football the way an NFL QB needs to be.

Teams have been in contact with him, hes the only reason he doesnt have a spot somewhere. lets not make this about the kneeling, thats not why hes sitting on the couch watching this season

LOL - Rex grossman played on several teams after being one of the worst QB's to ever play in the superbowl for 6 whole years. Kap was 28 when he last played in the league. 28 years old. RGIII doesn't follow the script and is constantly hurt, epitome of injury prone and is considered by some to be a cancer in the locker room. Kap got awarded by his teammates as best locker presence...He's well liked. He trains every day and is very much committed to football.
You're watching too much fox news. He's not a great QB. My arguement is he's a significant step up from Gabbert.

Kaep, in his final year, was 1-10, averaged 186 passing yards per game, and completed 59% of his passes.

    That's way worse than MM

Again...he had no weapons and a terrible coach...go to that years roster and look at the receivers/TE/RB on the depth chart.

oh and while you're at it don't leave out stats like his TD/INT ratio which was 16TDs and 4INT....with no weapons....
Tell me what MM TD/INT ratio was last season? Don't know? it was 13TD's and 15INT...oh and 106 yards and 0TD/2INT in one game this season...

I know some of yall southern boys "don't read so much well"

He's actually helping those on welfare - he's the one that made millions playing football. He does have an afro. GOOD JOB!
But remember he plays football he's not a clown. A clown is what ya maaamaaa dresses as at nights at the local karney
