Did anyone else catch this snafu? Who the hell put this up when we were punting? Seriously, punting on 1st and inches?

 

Luke Falk sucks no accuracy at all missing wide open dudes, throwing to a wr only for the ball sail 10 yards out of bounds.

 

I didn't get to see any of this game. I tried to follow with this thread up. I see that we gave up 372 yds in the air. Anyone have an explanation for that? Blown coverage, sloppy tackling, etc. I was hoping our guys would show up a little better than that in the secondary. Sounds like our rush was pretty good.

 

All the DBs except Sims were trash

 

Yeah, Gafford alone probably gave them 150 yards on penalties and blown coverage.

I'm exaggerating for effect, but I wouldn't be surprised if he actually gave up 100.

Yeah our secondary was surprisingly craptastic. No depth after Sims at CB and our starters didn't do so hot either. Crukshank got hurt so our 5th string safeties "played" the whole second half. Hence all the second half points and air yards.

In the pass rush Landry and Finch both looked like legit additions. Finch could be an UDFA steal. Wallace and Caraway had a minimal impact. Daquan looked healthy.

LB Robert Spillane was everywhere against the 3rd stringers and even had a sack. Might move up the depth chart a little.

Fluellen looked far better than Wadley.

Gabbert looked very servicable as a backup. Loads of experience. Could probably win us a game or two in a pinch.

Nick Williams came to play with a big 32 yard catch with the first team and a great tackle in punt coverage.

Veasy was a non factor.

 

DB's has a whole were bad. There man caught lots of balls for lots of yards
